Welcome to the Bossier Parish Libraries web site! We are excited that you have dropped by to visit. Bossier parish is culturally a diverse community. We serve our community directly through a central library and six branches. Within the walls of each of these libraries, you will find a warm and welcoming staff providing traditional services that support the reading and informational needs and interests of all of our patrons in a variety of formats, including print and multimedia.
In addition, we strive to identify the emerging technologies that will maximize access to information for the entire community, and provide a Library without walls that allows for access to many digital resources 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via an internet connection. Over the last year, and particularly over the last six months, the Bossier Parish Library has been developing its website to function as an electronic outreach of the library. The intent is to bring library resources and services closer to users like you.
We take our commitment to the public very seriously. Whether you are seeking information; want to find the best book to read; wish to attend a music concert or other cultural event; introduce your children to the world of learning and enrichment through storytimes; attend monthly Family programs; or just want to read your favorite current magazine, we welcome you and look forward to getting to know you better.
